Pamela Travis has been with our office since March 2014. She makes bonding trays in our lab and will sometimes work as a dental assistant. She came to our team with four years of orthodontic experience at another office. We’re so thankful she applied to work with our team!
Before studying to be a dental assistant, Pamela grew up in Lamesa and went to school at Lubbock-Cooper High School. Pamela and her husband Tyler have three children who keep them very busy, as well as a little Yorkie named Brutus. When Pamela isn’t working, she devotes herself to spending time with her family. Her kids all play sports, and her family loves looking for fun new ways to spend time together.
While it is very easy to tell how much Pamela loves her work by the joyful spirit she has each day, there are some things you might not know about her. One is that she really enjoys history. If she could go anywhere in the world, she says she would want to visit Rome because of the amazing culture and history that exists there.
Another thing you might not know about Pamela is that she is gifted at organizing. Her closet is organized by type of clothing, color, and season. Our team has a long list of people waiting for her to come organize their closets as well ;).
When we asked Pamela if there was anything she would want to tell our patients and their families, she had two things to share. The first was that she would want them all to know how much we truly love and respect each person who walks through our doors. And the second? “Be sure to wear your rubber bands!”
We agree with both of those whole heartedly. We are so thankful you chose to be a part to our team, Pamela. It wouldn’t be the same without you!
